I guess it's all just a matter of perspective. As far as attending Grateful Dead concerts is concerned, my personal best year was 89--saw eight shows and had a blast every time. Also there was a lot of other good stuff going on in my life in 89. Someone else's best year might have been 94, 95, or 66 for all I know. As far as listening on the forum goes, I like every era, I suppose. I really dig 60's dead now, while in 89 I didn't care for it so much. For the past couple of weeks I've spent a lot of time in 89--largely for nostalgic reasons, I suppose. Good times, good times. If you get confused, listen to the music play.
